Liaison interpreting is ideal for such dynamic situations, because it preserves the flexibility and fluency of the oral exchanges.
In order not to miss anything during these exchanges, it is better to hire a professional than to take a chance. Liaison interpreting is a science that cannot be improvised. The liaison interpreter reproduces the dialogue, sentence by sentence or segment by segment, alternating both languages. He/she performs either consecutive or whispered interpreting, which is a complex intellectual exercise that requires meticulousness, precision, concentration and professionalism.
From a practical perspective, liaison interpreting requires no hardware (no headphones nor microphone, only a notebook, if required). This method is ideal in the case of onsite visits, exhibitions or trips since many different people can move while continuing to follow the thread of the discussion.
